Netherlands Lounge at the Wind Expo Tokyo HYBRID 2021

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the offshore wind developments in Japan are going fast. Japan launched its first-ever auction for fixed bottom offshore wind projects last November, which will be built at three zones within the country’s General Common Sea Area. The tender is open until 27 May 2021. Aim of Japan is to be the world’s no. 3 offshore wind power producer in 2040.

To further explore the opportunities for the Dutch wind sector and generate visibility within the Japanese wind sector, HHWE intends to organize a joint NL Netherlands Lounge at the WET, taking place from Wednesday March 3 to Friday March 5, 2021. As traveling to Japan will be difficult, this edition will take place in hybrid from, which means there is both a physical and virtual exhibition.
