A warm welcome to the 6th Conference on Wind energy and Wildlife impacts!
Organized for you in the Netherlands by Bureau Waardenburg and the Dutch government.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in person at the Conference on Wind energy and Wildlife impacts (CWW2022) in the Netherlands! We are proud to be organizing this 6th conference in the CWW series, which will stress the importance of scientific knowledge for policy and wildlife management related to wind farms.

Venue
We are thrilled to invite you to the beautiful conference venue at Hotel Zuiderduin, which is in the seaside village of Egmond aan Zee, close to Amsterdam. You will enjoy great views of two of our offshore wind farms. We will ensure plenty of opportunities to interact with your network and to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.

Towards solutions
Together with the scientific advisory committee we are working on a program that will engage scientists, the wind industry and governmental organizations. We are keen to bring people from industry and governments onboard and facilitate interaction with researchers of wind and wildlife impacts. Together we will find practical solutions for harmony between wildlife and renewables projects: science-led and effective solutions in the Dutch dunes!

Emerging markets
Finally, we are very pleased to host a special session for participants from emerging markets; what key issues are they facing, how can we translate our knowledge and research techniques to these upcoming countries and what can we learn from their fresh ideas?

Invitation
We invite you to join us at the CWW2022 and of course we would be delighted if you want to join our team of sponsors to help us create an event never to be forgotten. Stay up-to-date by subscribing to our mailing list.

Help spread the word!

Yours truly,
Eelco Waardenburg, Wouter Lengkeek and Martien Meijer – directors Bureau Waardenburg
Ingeborg van Splunder and Martine Graafland – co-organizers from the Dutch government
