Wind Force 11
Wind Force 11 has shown the visitors of the EWEA OFFSHORE 2011 Conference and Exhibition that The Netherlands has an offshore wind sector of importance. The project started in June of 2011 during the Global Wind Day. NWEA organized a diner with the CEO's of important offshore wind companies in the Netherlands and handed over a statement of the sector to two senior civil servants.
Since then Wind Force 11 started a PR campaign and generates publicity for the Dutch sector and the sponsors of Wind Force 11. The Wind Force 11 newsletter is sent to approximately 1200 persons in the Netherlands that are involved in the wind business.
Company profile The Netherlands has an offshore wind energy sector to be proud of. It is home to leading international companies, which together form a strong industry with experience in all aspects of offshore wind: research, project development, offshore windsuppliers & construction, and operation & maintenance.Windforce 11 is intended to show that more and more companies and organizations in the Netherlands are involved Dutch offshore wind industry. That's why NWEA has offered these parties to place their company on the website. The profiles are listed at the following link, Bedrijfsprofielen Nederlandse Offshore wind industrie. The introduction on this page is in Dutch however the profiles are in English. Is your company not in the list? During the Conference and Exhibition we organized a press conference, a lunch program for policymakers, politicians, staff of political parties and other civil servants. We took both groups to the exhibition and give them a guided tour. This tour was also offered to all visitors of the exhibition. And last but not least. We highlighted all booths of the companies that generate jobs in the Netherlands.

The Dutch Wind Energy Association (NWEA) is the voice of the wind industry, actively promoting the utilization of wind power in the Netherlands. NWEA works together with organizations and companies that are active in onshore and offshore wind, with the intention to influence the Dutch government and to create a positive involvement of the public.
